And here's killernut's answer: "JFH, A quick look at Qwest. Market Cap $7.6B Revenue $14.3B CF from Operations $2.8B (seems cheap based on this metric but...) FCF $170M (seems absurdly overpriced based on this metric) Debt $17B (the kicker for me) Might be a reasonable play based on the economic upturn but the debt would certainly be a worry. That's one other thing, most companies that I invest in I like to be able to get outside confirmation on industry trends myself. i.e. oil prices, tanker rates, placements of EECP machines etc. It's a little tougher following huge companies like Q or any of the other large caps. My opinion - avoid. YOMV. " |

Q is at 4.20 today. Is it worth buying ? Here's what I posted yesteday at the misc. board: "Q 7 It has been upgraded 7 times, the latest today by Goldman Sachs no less, or initiated with a positive bias, recently. Still inexpensive, so do we buy it ? "
